Though I would not consider myself an artist, I would say that I am artistic. I create things to de-stress and arts and crafts are fun and relaxing for me. Yes, I am one of those moms with a messy craft room filled with yarn, fabric pieces, rubber stamps, and glitter galore. I try my hand at a new craft every once in a while and even sign up to sell at a craft show here and there.

I can listen to the word online, read it online, or even type things out online, but until I get it down on pen and paper, it simply will not stick.

Also, when I am trying to work through a challenging trial (someone gossiping about the family, a chronic illness, or praying for a lost loved one), writing and drawing helps me to process things quickly.
