I knew some kids that were homeschooled and while I never had it, I always felt that these kids could learn better independently and feel more confident than some others. Perhaps it's that so much of the time that is wasted in school such as trying to impress peers, goofing off, or maybe even just walking from class to class is wasted when the school day can be condensed down. I like that there is so much offered with homeschooling these days and it's not nearly what it used to be.
