Show Me the Father is the first documentary from the Kendrick Brothers (Overcomer, Flywheel, War Room, Fireproof).

Whatever you do, do not be turned off by the fact that it is a documentary. I was hesitant at first, too. This is not comparable to any documentary that you have ever seen. I promise. It is truly inspired by the movement of our Father God in the lives of men, women, and children throughout the world today. This film shares powerful true stories and wisdom from fathers such as Jim Daly of Focus on the Family, Sherman Smith, Stephen Kendrick, and Dr. Tony Evans. Highlighting the fatherhood of God, Show Me the Father is an inspiring film that will touch anyone, regardless of where they are in their walk with God, teaching them to lean into God’s goodness.

Releasing in theaters on September 10,  your entire family will not want to miss out on this event!

Everyone has a unique father story. Whether positive or painful, it’s always personal and can deeply affect the core of our identity and direction of our lives.

Providing a fresh perspective on the roles of fathers in today’s society, Show Me the Father invites you to think differently about how you view your earthly father, and how you personally relate to God.

Seeing how God moved in the lives of those mentioned in this film will have you on the edge of your seat shouting, "No way!" At least that's what I found myself literally shouting during the movie. True story! My husband and sons were also amazed at the powerful movement of the Holy Spirit demonstrated in this film even though they may not have been as animated as I was!

I have to note that there truly is something for everyone in this film. My husband and sons are not into football but that wasn't the theme of the film. Even though football players were in the film, the way God moved in these players' lives touched my husband and son in a powerful way. The other stories were inspiring to them as well. As a mother, I found this to be a truly inspirational movie, but I will have to say that it deeply spoke to my husband and teen sons in a way that only God can speak. Every man and teenage son needs to watch this film!

I also highly recommend this film for those in youth ministry, homeless ministries, or on Christian college campuses. It truly will help put your ministry into perspective. As one who works regularly with one of these types of ministries, I was deeply moved to show the love of the Father to those I work with in a greater way. I personally was moved by Jim Daly's testimony the most as it spurred me to look at how I minister to these people in a completely different way.

Amazing!!!” Dr. Gary Chapman

Show Me the Father is the film our nation needs to see. We have become a society that devalues and mocks fathers, but God created the role of fatherhood for a very specific purpose. Many of our children feel unwanted and unworthy because half of their identity is absent. Fathers are necessary for the next generation to heal.” Nona Jones, Author, Pastor, Speaker, and Executive

  1. I want to see this because inspirational/Christian movies are about the only thing I will still watch at the box office because everything else now seems like it is just repeats of past movies. This looks great

  2. I cannot wait to see this. So many other movies out there are just the same tired formulas and faith based movies always inspire me even at my lowest.

  3. Mom's Night out is my favorite Kendrick's brothers movie. It was hilarious from start to finish and I loved seeing Trace Atkins in it
