Homeless at the age of seventeen, Lauren lost everything—except the will to survive. On the streets, she finds new meaning in a family of others who have lost everything as well. Here, she discovers that home is where the hope is.

No Address is a gripping journey of living without walls and rising above your circumstances regardless. Starring Lucas Jade Zumann, Beverly D’Angelo, Isabella Ferreira, William  Baldwin, Xander Berkeley, Ty Pennington, Kristanna Loken, Patricia Velasquez, and  Ashanti, this powerful film dares you to believe in second chances.

This movie does an incredible job getting across the point that homelessness can happen to anyone. It's easy to walk by the homeless on the street and pass judgement but when you get to know them and know their story—something happens to you. Now, I am not talking about the people that work for organizations posing as homeless people. You know. The ones that hold signs in the median of busy roads or haggle you in the Walmart parking lot. Many of these people are hired and the money goes to higher ups, not them. That is a business. What I am talking about are the true, broken people experiencing homelessness all around us. They are living in tents in the woods bordering our towns, they rent out hotel rooms by the week, they stay in local shelters at night and hang out in the public libraries or parks during the day. I mean, what would you do? The homeless know where to go to get their needs met. They have friends. They have their own communities. They know they can get chicken from a particular church on Saturdays and a hot meal from another one on Sundays—after they sit through a sermon. They know, and they make it work. This movie explores the lives of the homeless. Reminding us that they are not any less than anybody else and that homelessness could happen to anyone.

As Christians, so many of us want to fix everyone. We see someone who is homeless, and we begin figuring out everything in our minds, but if we do not know that person, really know them, then we do not know their needs. We might think we do but we don't. I love that this movie shows that. One woman who fought for the needs of the homeless never pushed anything on anyone. If she offered someone a place to stay for the evening and they refused, she gave them a sleeping bag. In our minds, we would think it makes no sense to turn down shelter and choose to stay on the streets, but they have their reasons—and this movie shows that.

I will say that a movie can never truly show you what it is like—you need to get out there and meet these people for yourselves. Serve them and get to know them, and you will be changed. I was, and so was my family. The actors did a great job but when you have interacted with these types of people on a weekly basis you probably agree with me that the actors were a little too clean cut, but overall they made an excellent case for the homeless and the script was extremely well-written. I highly recommend this movie for ages 13 and up. There is quite a bit of violence which is why I do not recommend this film for younger viewers. Make sure you get out and see this film as soon as you can!

Did You Know?

  • There are 1.2 million adults and 1.5 million children experiencing homelessness nationwide.
  • Between 2022 and 2023, street-level homelessness increased 12% nationwide. If this rate continues, street-level homelessness will double in 5–6 years.
  • Nearly 1 in 3 foster youth in California face homelessness after leaving the child welfare system.
  • Before 2014, the number of unsheltered individuals dropped by 31.4% between 2007 and 2014, thanks to intensive wraparound services and participation requirements in most homelessness assistance programs. This progress was reversed when the federal government cut funding for supportive services and removed participation requirements.
  • Robert Craig Films is deeply committed to addressing the urgent issue of homelessness and has pledged that 50% of the net profits from the five No Address productions will be donated to a diverse range of organizations and churches nationwide that are tirelessly working to combat the homelessness crisis within their communities.
