Another year is almost in the books and I only have you to thank for that. Many of you have entered my giveaways (and even won more than once!) and scores more of you have interacted with me through the blog and email which encourages me to keep doing what I am doing. When I started the Thrift Schooling blog in 2012, I had no idea that it would grow into such a successful resource for homeschooling families worldwide. Although it has changed over the years the ultimate goal has remained the same—to provide homeschooling families with thrifty resources and ideas, and of course, homeschool encouragement. In this post, I want to share with you the top ten posts of 2024 that have been YOUR favorites! From movie reviews to homestead hacks, the following posts are the top ten most read posts of the year. After looking at this list I will make sure to take note of what YOU like so I can provide you with even better content in the years to come!

10. It's Spring

This one is short but sweet and shows me that you want to see more of our homestead. Don't worry, this is definitely in the plan for 2025! With our growing homestead, there is plenty to share!

9. White Bird Movie Review

Historical fiction is one of my favorite book/movie genres and it looks like it is yours as well! More of this is coming your way, especially in the WW2 era, which is my favorite era to explore.

8. Kindergarten Touch Math Review

Special needs homeschool resources is a genre I have not talked about in great detail often but many of you have been interested in this particular resource from the past. Now that I am teaching a child with dyslexia, I guarantee that this topic will pop up more than once in 2025.

7. Lost on a Mountain in Maine Review and Giveaway

Noted: You like movie reviews with giveaways!

6. Something to Stand for Review and Giveaway

This was more of a history-based movie. Definitely a theme I will continue to explore.

5. The Best Christmas Pageant Ever Review and Giveaway

Aren't movies based on a children's book the best?

4. Encountering God Study Bible Review and Giveaway

I give away several Bibles a year, so I find it interesting that this one was your favorite. It was mine, too, and the one I now use daily!

3. Literature-Based Homeschool History

I promise, there is more where this came from! A love for Literature-based curriculum is definitely on the rise.

2. Thanksgiving Fun Activity Pack

Want more holiday resource ideas? Okay!
