Lethl-ace Universal Concealed Carry Holster {Review}

When looking for holsters, my husband and I wanted something versatile. As a homeschooling mom, my wardrobe is all over the place. Some days it's just jeans and a tee shirt, in this case I would want a waist holster. While we are actually "doing school", I like to be a bit more comfortable in a maxi skirt or dress. In this case I would choose a thigh or ankle holster. I also wear dresses at times so a bra or under the arm holster might be more practical. Basically, it came down to making this one decision- was I going to completely revamp my wardrobe to fit one holster style or was I going to get a holster that I could wear on any given day, regardless of my outfit. The answer? Lethal-lace Universal Concealed Carry Holster .  Lethal-lace provides two types of holsters, a one-size-fits-all women's lace holster available in a variety of colors and a men's non-lace holster. I'll share my experience with the women's holster first.  Am I pr...

Luv Michael Granola {Review}

Luv Michael  is a unique company created in the name of Michael, an 18 year old man with autism. This company provided an excellent employment opportunity that would work for him. Using natural ingredients, the Luv Michael company is from the heart. I received a bag of the Originola Granola that is not only gluten free, nut free, dairy free and not made with GMO's. The pieces come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. Some pieces are so large you think you just brought a bag of granola bars while other chunks are bite sized. The burst of flavor is amazing! Each bite certainly packs a punch of fruity tastiness. You certainly will not be disappointed with the flavor and when you get to the end of the bag you will be wanting more! Be sure to check out the Luv Michael site to order now! Disclaimer: This post was brought to you by Brandbacker. All thoughts expressed here are my own.

Me: A Compendium {Review}

Me: A Compendium is an adorable journal for kids to share their thoughts, experiences, hopes and dreams. This journal is so much more entertaining than I had anticipated. I had ordered this book in hopes to give to my eight year old son to work on his writing skills but upon receiving it I found it would work better for my six year old. Although I am confident that my eight year old would enjoy this fun-filled journal, it seems to fit my six year old daughter's personality so much more.  I thought that this book would simply include pages with story starter ideas with maybe some images but it is so much more than that! With large animated drawings of spaceships, children are encouraged to let their imaginations run wild as they write (or draw) about what they would see in space. The large, colorful pages allow for children to explore who they are and who they hope to be. I love the pages where they draw a picture of themselves as a baby, themselves now and as an older person. ...

Probiotics for Acne and Digestive Regularity {Nexabiotic Review}

Nexabiotic  is a powerful probiotic formulated with 23 probiotics that help develop a healthy gut, which is key to your overall health.  Our bodies should have a healthy, normal, balance of probiotics naturally but, because of the food we eat, our bodies are simply out of wack. Not only is this because much of the food presented to us is void of nutrition but also because of the antibiotics that are pumped into them. Personally, I am not a fan of antibiotics and rarely use them on my own accord.  Unfortunately, during my last pregnancy, I had several issues that led me to the decision to finally cave in and go on antibiotics. Big mistake. My body has been completely messed up this past year and I believe that the few weeks of antibiotics had a large role to play in all of this. The problem with antibiotics is, that it not only kills the bad bacteria in your body but the good as well. If all the good bacteria is killed off then not only is the target area af...

BIC® XTRA-Fun #2 Pencils with Stripes {Review}

  Who knew #2 pencils could be so fun? Apparently Bic did. They knew because they delivered. Bic has created XTRA-Fun #2 pencils with stripes that have lit up my kids faces. When my kids saw pencils in their favorite colors you would have thought it was Christmas morning. Seriously. There is just something about new school supplies, especially in the homeschooling realm since we don't stock up in the fall as traditional schools do.  When we received these in the mail they were super excited. Immediately I laid down the rules. No biting off erasers, keep them in a place you will remember and no "borrowing" from each other. Am I a strict mom, or what? Ha, ha. You kind of have to be with elementary aged students though, especially with pencils. If not then the kids end up losing them and handing in papers completed in pen, marker, crayon, lipstick, etc. I love that these packs come in a variety of colors. This way, each kid knows exactly which pencil is th...

Modern Potluck {Review}

Kristin Donnelly has outdone herself with the entertaining cookbook, Modern Potluck . From the front cover until I turned over the last page, I was impressed with the variety and quality of the recipes provided. Pleasing a crowd has never been easier with appetizers to share to 9 x 13 casserole dishes to devour.  I certainly have my go-to dishes that I will bring to a potluck and I am embarrassed to admit that they are not of the most healthy variety. I usually go with a boring dish such as baked mac and cheese. I might spice it up a little and make buffalo chicken dip but again, it is certainly not the healthiest dish out there.  This cookbook provides healthy and tasty recipes that I look forward to trying. She has divided the book up into the following categories: Snacks, Dips and Drinks Main Course Salads and Other Room Temperature Dishes Slow Cooked and Served Hot The 9 x 13 inch Pan: Casseroles and Like Supporting Role Salads and Sides Baked and Savory Swe...

The Pediatrician's Guide To Feeding Babies and Toddlers {Review}

You won't need to wonder which foods are okay to feed you little one when he starts solids. The Pediatrician's Guide To Feeding Babies and Toddlers   provides practical answers to your questions on nutrition, starting solids, allergies, picky eating and more. You would think that feeding my baby solids would be a breeze. I mean, this is my forth time around. But when my son broke out into hives recently, I decided to go back to the drawing board. None of my kids ever had hives and even though I know that it is a common occurrence in this stage of life, I wanted to make sure I was feeding my little one the right things. I began to eliminate certain ingredients from his diet and it quickly cleared up and hasn't returned. I was excited to refresh my memory with this book as to what kids can eat at different stages in their development. Some information I already knew such as not feeding your child honey before their first birthday. But there were issues addressed t...
