Week of Jan 27th Meals




 If you're in a rut maybe some of these ideas from our meals this week can help you out!!! We've cut out our afternoon snack now and noticed that the bigger lunches help keep these homeschoolers full and they are more apt to eat their dinners, go figure! 

Monday 1/28
Breakfast: Oatmeal
Lunch: Homemade Beef and Vegetable Soup
Dinner: Crispy Chicken and Veggies

Tuesday 1/29
Breakfast: Scrambled Eggs/Oranges
Lunch: Hoagies/Apple Slices
Dinner: Spinach Quiche/Salad

Wednesday 1/30
Breakfast: Yogurt and Granola
Lunch: Cheese Quesadillas/Spinach/ Orange Slices
Dinner: Chili/Salad

Thursday 1/31
Breakfast: Eggs and Toast
Lunch:Leftover Chili
Dinner: Sausage and Kale over Noodles

Friday 2/10
Breakfast: Eggs and Bacon
Lunch: Turkey and Ham Hoagies
Dinner: Beef Tacos

We have found what we have been looking for in The Pencil Grip Inc .'s 24 pack of Magic Stix Washable Markers . These markers are the perfect fit for a homeschooling family such as ours. I am thrilled to tell you about our experience with them! Normally, I do not have a favorable impression of markers for several reasons. For one, as a kid, I remember markers having such a strong smell that it would give me a headache. I know some kids enjoyed the scents but it certainly was not for me. And to be honest, if I had markers like that in my house today, my kids would probably stick them up their nose or something. Another reason I have a distaste for markers is the drying out factor.
