Purex Fels-Naptha {Review and Giveaway}

Purex Fels-Naptha is a laundry soap bar to remove those nasty stains on your garments! Either lightly wet the end of the bar and scrub onto your stain before placing in the wash or grate into the washer to help with heavy loads! I generally keep a bar of Fels-Naptha in my laundry room for when I make my own laundry soap. I love it's fresh organic scent that just smells, well, clean! I usually grate it and mix with water, borax and washing soda to make my own detergent. 

 Recently, I've been using Purex brand detergents because it's inexpensive and they have great scents that clean great as well! But I love to have the homemade stuff on hand, I guess that's the "prepper" in me.

 Making your own detergent is a good skill to have in case times get tough in the days ahead. It's also great to teach the kids, (an excellent homeschool project,) my five year loves helping me ladle the soap into five gallon buckets! It is good to know that Purex has a Fels-Naptha bar since they are a brand I have learned to trust and it's a great laundry soap to have around the house!

    I have to do laundry just once a week. I don't have a washer and dryer hookup in my apartment. That REALLY sucks considering I have a Cabrio washer and dryer set just sitting in storage. I normally do laundry at least every other day.

We have found what we have been looking for in The Pencil Grip Inc .'s 24 pack of Magic Stix Washable Markers . These markers are the perfect fit for a homeschooling family such as ours. I am thrilled to tell you about our experience with them! Normally, I do not have a favorable impression of markers for several reasons. For one, as a kid, I remember markers having such a strong smell that it would give me a headache. I know some kids enjoyed the scents but it certainly was not for me.
