Rainbow Resource Center: Your One Stop Shop

Rainbow Resource Center provides over 50,000 educational materials for purchase online. For those of us who like to look at materials up close, you do have the opportunity to leaf through some of their materials at a homeschool convention. Here, they set up an amazing display, chock full of a wide variety of materials. If you are planning on going to a convention this year, be on the lookout for the large Rainbow Display and be prepared for some great deals!

If you prefer to do your shopping online, their online store carries pretty much any material under the sun.

Teaching your child preschool doesn't have to be scary. Many parents fear they aren't doing enough. Although, if they are providing a loving home with plenty of opportunities to grow, then their child will flourish quickly. From baby education to preschool resources, there are plenty of materials available at Rainbow Resource Center for your young one. Stock your home with puzzles, blocks, puppets and education DVD's. Switch the materials up every so often to help stimulate your child by providing new and exciting experiences. Then, simply rotate!

The beauty of incorporating a quality language arts program, such as Moving Beyond the Page, to your homeschool year, is you can kill several birds with one stone. A good language arts program includes spelling, vocabulary and depending on the subject matter, science and/or history.

Growing up, I learned to read by sight. I never learned the phonics rules. It can be overwhelming at times teaching them to my children but it will help them go further in their reading skills by leaps and bounds. The Pencil Grip Inc. {Review}

We have found what we have been looking for in The Pencil Grip Inc .'s 24 pack of Magic Stix Washable Markers . These markers are the perfect fit for a homeschooling family such as ours. I am thrilled to tell you about our experience with them! Normally, I do not have a favorable impression of markers for several reasons. For one, as a kid, I remember markers having such a strong smell that it would give me a headache. I know some kids enjoyed the scents but it certainly was not for me. And to be honest, if I had markers like that in my house today, my kids would probably stick them up their nose or something. Another reason I have a distaste for markers is the drying out factor. As a parent of many children this is super frustrating.
