Illustrator's Notetaking Bible (CSB) Review and Giveaway

 



If you like to take notes, highlight, or draw in your Bible, this Bible allows room for all three. 

Though I would not consider myself an artist, I would say that I am artistic. I create things to de-stress and arts and crafts are fun and relaxing for me. Yes, I am one of those moms with a messy craft room filled with yarn, fabric pieces, rubber stamps, and glitter galore. I try my hand at a new craft every once in a while and even sign up to sell at a craft show here and there. 

That said, studying the Bible, praying, and worshiping God becomes a creative process for me as well. Not for anyone else to see—only the Lord—but for things to gel in my mind I need to have a pen in my hand and gets things down physically. Things do not fully register with me with a device. I can listen to the word online, read it online, or even type things out online, but until I get it down on pen and paper, it simply will not stick.

Also, when I am trying to work through a challenging trial (someone gossiping about the family, a chronic illness, or praying for a lost loved one), writing and drawing helps me to process things quickly.

    I'm not artistic, but I do like to color, and the illustrations in this Bible are beautiful.

We have found what we have been looking for in The Pencil Grip Inc .'s 24 pack of Magic Stix Washable Markers . These markers are the perfect fit for a homeschooling family such as ours. I am thrilled to tell you about our experience with them! Normally, I do not have a favorable impression of markers for several reasons. For one, as a kid, I remember markers having such a strong smell that it would give me a headache. I know some kids enjoyed the scents but it certainly was not for me.
