Buy tickets today to see Christmas at the Cabin in theaters starting November 14! Christmas at the Cabin is the holiday movie everyone will be talking about! Starring Todd Terry, Marianne Haaland, Corey Cannon, Sharon Oliphant, and Stacey Sheffield, this heartwarming holiday film blends laughter, love, and lessons of faith in one unforgettable Christmas story. From stunning winter backdrops to original music, Christmas at the Cabin delivers pure holiday magic. It reminds us that faith, family, and love can guide us through any storm.
This sweet Christmas movie defies the traditional Christmas RomCom genre by addressing serious issues with a humerous twist. Listen to Jean of the Momentum Influencer Network as she interviews the writer and lead actress of his film, Marianne Haaland to learn more about what went into the creation of this film.
Christmas can be challenging for families in so many different ways. I know for some it can be hard when you are missing a loved one. For others, it can bring up bad memories of the past, triggering past hurts. The challenges that this film addresses are something that you rarely see in a heartfelt Christmas film, yet it so relatable—dealing with the inner struggles that arise when things don't go our way when trying to create perfect Christmas memories. Imagine you are dreaming of an ideal Christmas vacation in a picturesque cabin in the mountains only to find your husband's former college roommate there. I love how this film presents four different individuals forced to spend Christmas together. Not everyone sees everything the same way. Not everybody loves the Lord, or maybe they do, but it doesn't look the same as the others.
I love how this movie is funny, real, and relatable—showing the main character who thinks she is the ideal Christian, but as we watch her, we see her flaws, which is beautiful because it gives us grace as we look at ourselves and others going into the holiday season. Everyone around the Thanksgiving and Christmas tables this year might not think like us, or look like us, but we can all learn from each other, and maybe, a surprise encounter with a stranger (note the man on the horse at the top of this post) will help us to see things differently.
I highly recommend this movie for the entire family, be sure to secure your tickets and watch this in the theaters with family and friends this holiday season!
